Dead 12V Battery
I have a 2023 RZ 450e with 26,000 miles on it, car has been running great and have not experienced any issues with the a dead 12 volt battery until now:
I had my 2023 RZ 450e in accessory mode while I was reviewing dash cam video. Unfortunately while in accessory mode I managed to drain the 12 volt battery enough that it locked the car up completely. Just before the 12 volt battery went down, the car acted like it was possessed, alerts and messages started to light up all over the dashboard, the cooling fans in the seats started running, headlights started blinking, etc. I had to use the manual release to exit the car. Once I realized what had happened, I charged the battery with my battery charger, and got the 12 volt battery back to 100%. When I started the car, it ran fine, but several messages have not cleared (EV System Malfunction, System Malfunction, Drive-Start Control Malfunction, PKSB unavailable) and the mileage range is "---", even though I know the car batteries had just been charged the night before the event. I've had the car at the dealer (Lexus of Wilmington, DE) for 4 days now and they have not been able to get the messages to clear, or determine if there is anything else that has gone wrong with the car. Looking for anyone else with issues after a 12 Volt battery failure, and if dealers have been able to correct the problem with the messages not clearing.
