Key Battery Replacement Problem
Hey guys,
I swapped out my battery on my FOB and the car starts fine, BUT I can't lock or unlock doors from outside. When I lock the car via the door it works and I can open as well. Trunk does not open as well using the FOB.
I purchased the batteries probably 14 months ago off of Amazon and they were stored in a good location.
What am I missing? The car did not say I had a low battery (on the replacement.)

No matter what, probably the battery is dead and the system no recognize it. Buy a new one and try again. Good luck with that.

Yes, I figured as much. I wasn't sure if there was anything else I needed to do. The last few times I went into the shop, they charged me 20 bucks!
