Mine is a 2022 Lexus RX 350 Pearl Essence White, with Parchment Leather Interior.

I'm not sure if it is the "Luxury" or "Premium" edition. It has the 20" wheels, Mark Levenson Sound System. 12" Screen.

I have owned Toyota's for many years. I decided to step up to a Lexus RX 350 Gas engine because there are NO local repair shops that are familiar with a Lexus.

Did I make the right decision ?
What are you asking?? You decided on an RX350 because there are no local repair shops that can service a Lexus??

Quite a few members here have their RX serviced at the Toyota dealership.

Any news on when they will preview the all new 2023 RX?

Im looking to buy a 2022 this Christmas. Hoping there’s a lot of interest in the new model. And the last years model get a deep discount. Hopefully they will have the chip shortage fixed in 9 months.

That's a long shot, IMHO. If there are any 22s left by that time, the pickings will be very slim, consisting of units that no one wanted.

Here's the guess. No more V6 engine.

Don't count on chip shortage relief anytime soon. The industry will milk this as long as they can even after supply chain issues ease.

The local independent repair shops don’t repair Hybrid Japanese automobiles.

Thats one of the reasons to buy a 2022. And as the new NX has shown. Lexus IS not ready for Prime Time with the cloud connected vehicles.

They dealerships are definitely making more money with people buying for more than MSRP. But it can’t be more if they sold more vehicles. Or the loss of vehicles being serviced.

The video above sounds interesting but will have to wait and see if 1, it's true, 2, if the power is really there, and 3, what will the MPG be? Would be a real winner if 0-60 is at least competitive with the German upgraded engines (4-5 sec's for 0-60) and high MPG's, preferably on regular gas.

Been searching for any new info on the 2023 RX, seems like we should start seeing at least camouflaged RX's being tested. Maybe delayed because of the chip shortage? From what I can see, it seems the new RX will be quite high-tech and I don't think Lexus would release unless they had at least enough chips to be able to give people what they want, especially since this is their top seller.

I'm looking at the next RX to trade in our 2017. Really hoping for an electric hybrid like the NX450H+ but with more range on the battery. If it can do 100miles+ on the battery and same 0-60 time as the NX450H+(5.5sec), I'm all in.
I looked at the NX450H+ and really like it but the 35miles battery range is a nonstarter.

Might be a while before we can see plugin hybrids with 100+ mile Electric-only ranges. With current battery tech, you need double the amount of batteries (35 kWh) in order to get those ranges in much smaller cars like the Mini SE and Mazda MX-30. Weight and cost will be a huge issue.

We'll need to see Solid State batteries get rolled out before we can hope to see cost-effective PHEVs like those.

No kidding. I did not realize all of the issues being reported for the new NX. I would not expect so many varied issues from Lexus even for a 1st year model. The must have left out the quality control circuitry due to the chip shortage.
