Current generation (2023-what) and what’s next
I currently have a 2018 Audi Q5 and drive approximately 18-20k miles a year. So yes, I am looking for a more reliable vehicle that can handle my commute. I will say, the Audi Q5 has surprised me and it hasn’t that bad as many anti-German buyers say and I have had NO problems with it - currently has 55k miles on it. Regardless, I want to buy an RX350h next, basically an RX hybrid.
After looking at the latest ES hybrid and IS redesigns, they are not that great. They are not ugly, but not what I want in a vehicle. Until what year do we think the current generation of RX will go until a redesign? 2028?
Future generations may have better hybrid systems, but it could be more unreliable. I like hybrid systems that are more powerful in acceleration. But I don’t like buying new generations, even if it’s Lexus, because they always make mistakes. And today’s world climate makes mistakes more likely.
I probably need to buy a new vehicle within about 2-3 years.

...and so on.
We have purchased several vehicles over time that have had 'jarring' features. We have gotten used to the looks of all of them.
Took about 6 months for me to get used to the RX's "overbite' grill.
