2023 RX 500h Dashboard Gap Issue After Multiple Failed Repairs
This is how my dashboard looks on my 2023 RX 500h. It keeps slipping down and creating a gap. Even after I push it back up, within five minutes of driving it falls again. This is after 3 repair attempts by Lexus, including using special clips and keeping the car for 5 days on the last visit. As you can see, nothing has worked — it feels like a major design flaw.
I don’t have this problem with my 500, also a 2023 model. But I know that once technicians touch your vehicle, it usually makes things worse. Stay on it and get the problem fixed, with a free loan vehicle. Otherwise, it will annoy you again later.
Not sure if you saw this, but there is a very long thread on this issue. I thought this issue was fixed by Lexus long ago by using larger clips. This was a known issue with the early 5g RX and your dealer should know the fix.
