Driver's Seat Cleaning
I tried a 20% solution of Woolite on the leather and Ultrasuede. It seems to have worked well on the Ultrasuede but not on the leather. I even tried a small amount of 100% Woolite on the leather with no luck. I think that I need to find a good leather cleaner. Unfortunately, my choices in Alaska are limited.
The Ultrasuede is quite wet after rinsing out the Woolite solution so it of course just looks dark. I really won't know how well it worked until it dries out. Thank you for the ideas!

1) The flat seating area, smooth feel/look. This is perforated for the cooling. Leather?
2) The side "bolsters", textured feel (like fleece)/not smooth. Ultrasuede?
3) The top portion of the sides and extending down the outside part of the seat on both sides to about halfway down, smooth/feel, look. Leather?

2. Probably cloth/carpet of sorts or possibly textured vinyl, depending on where you're referring to.
3) Vinyl.
NOTE, however, ALL car seating made of leather is factory coated with a polyurethane clear coat. Dissolve that off with harsh cleaners and you have a real mess!
The commercially available leather cleaners (Zaino, Lexol, Leatherique, etc) ar safe on both leather and smooth vinyl.
My latest update.
A 20% Woolite solution worked real well on the Ultrasuede. I scrubbed it thoroughly twice and there is no trace of the dye transfer left. I am very pleased with this as this material (side bolsters) had a majority of the stain and looked terrible.
The leather portions of the seat didn't respond so well, but the stains have lightened up a bit. Seems like the Woolite solution worked the best on this as well. In addition to Woolite, I have tried (some on a very small portion) rubbing alcohol, white vinegar, saddle soap and Jay Leno's leather cleaner. All of these products had zero effect. I had high hopes for the Jay Leno cleaner as it specifies that it is supposed to remove denim dye, but it didn't work for me.
As a last resort, I just purchased some Zaino cleaner and conditioner. They don't ship to Alaska, but I figured out a way to get it shipped to me via a relative that lives in the lower 48. Not sure when I will get it, but I am anxious to give the cleaner a try. At this point it is my last hope!
Thanks again for all of the ideas and recommendations.
