I did my first oil change/rotation yesterday (20K service). MAN, the dealer must use a jackhammer to tighten the oil filter!

But that isn't the point of this post. I was wondering how to reset the app's maintenance record?



I have correctly reset the oil & maintenance dash reminders via the center screen. That part was easy. FWIW, the dash goes to 9999 miles until service when you reset it.

BUT How do you reset the app? Is there a dealer 'trick' that they use?

 

I suspect the app will update itself when it communicates with the car at some point.

 

Still waiting....

BTW I did most of the obvious stuff:

Closed app
Rebooted iPhone
Prayed to the Lexus gods. I even filed my taxes with the IRS!

I'll try some of those additional steps to see if that resets the APP on the 2023RX (which uses different software than a 2015)..

As noted, I DID successfully reset the dash Maintenance reminder.

No success so far.

Tried the procedure in the video with both Primary & Secondary drivers & iPhones. Both updated to iOS 8.4 BTW.
