Hi everyone,

I bought 2016 lexus is, I changed the engine oil and reset the oil manitaince data in the dash (no warning message in that time)

now I drove my car for 7300 km , I realized there is no Oil Maintenance Required warning message.
(owner manual clearly stated : Comes on approximately 4500 miles (7200 km)
after the message has been reset.)


any one knows why the message didn't come?

 

Maybe the previous owner reset the interval amount.

 

Do you mean he changed the service interval the remainder will come -on? The problem is when i click on maintenance screen, it closes immediately and getting error (checking data) because the navigation SD card is missing.

 

The is your issue, though I have never heard of the SD card being missing. when the Nav system is working you can easily set or remove the maintenance reminders.

 

That's exactly what I mean. The fact you can't now alter it yourself is a separate issue, due to an apparent misssing SD card, or the system not being able read any card that might be there.

 

If you cant find the card get a new one so you can get access to the nav again to turn that off.
