Default Bluetooth Audio Skipping When In Park

I have noticed that in the last several months, ONLY when I put the car in park does the audio from my phone source start skipping. I have noticed this with Spotify, VLC and YouTube. There are no issues when I stop the car with the brake, only when in park. To make things more confusing, when I am using wireless Android Auto there are no issue when in park.

Any advice? I have deleted and repaired the phone and car several times now with no resolution.

2023 RX500h
Pixel 9Pro XL

Car and phon software are all up to date.

Thanks,

J

I've been getting some skipping as well but while driving. The audio in the Apple Podcasts app in CarPlay drops out for a second then comes back. My guess is it has to do with my phone's operating system updates, since there have been no new Lexus OS updates. I'm really hoping Apple gets it fixed in software.

That is really annoying! There was a recent android update and it seems to have resolved the issue for me. Now the issue is that the Bluetooth connection between the phone and the car takes a few minutes to kick in. Before it was seconds. Oh well... at least I can actually listen to my media.

Hope an update helps you!
