It improves the driving experience, if that is what you are after. I have lowered my RX along other available Braces/Sway bars and aftermarket wheels (wider with a better offset). I initially had done the springs first and they work just fine with the AVS suspension in the F-Sport. I used the Ti2000 springs and they feel much smoother, but still as firm, as regular R*SR Down Springs that I have used in the past. While is looks much better eliminating some of the fender gap, don't expect too much in terms of performance. In addition to all of the other suspension mods & wheels that I did, my RX handles every bit as well as a stock RC-F does. And I have driven both back to back to compare.
Ultimately, do what makes you happy. Lowering isn't a trend I understand. It makes utility vehicles less useful and doesn't actually improve handling or ride in a meaningful way -- not more than just going and buying a wagon, if that's what you want.

Maybe you misunderstood that part, my RX now handles excellent, for how I want it to drive, as does a stock RC-F.
You've understood the rest perfectly, actually. The reason for different colors, trims, options available is so that each different person can obtain a car with what is important to them for their driving experience. What is meaningful to me, may seem nonsensical to you and thats the beauty of individualism. I wish there were more wagons out there on the market, but trends have shifted to many forms of SUV's thus replacing the formal, or historical 'wagon'. So, for me, create your own vehicle tailored to how I want a car to look, drive and behave. I like my RX Sportwagon that I have created as it has everything that I need out of a vehicle, almost.

Ah that definitely makes sense, and also nice RX from the other thread which I think I saw too. I immediately noticed the fender gap on your RX and was like you definitely had it lowered haha, and I think it visually looks great. I've done coilovers and rear sway bars in the past, but I'm sorta afraid to just mod anything physical for now. I think as I've gotten older, I just want something that's relatively quick, handles well, and comfy with low noise, don't necessarily have to craw and hit my head, and the RX basically met all of those. Maybe further down the line I'll be interested in a flash and other mods, seen a couple of them for the turbo engine but haven't quite pulled the trigger on them yet. And yeah I would love a wagon that isn't German or Swedish, I don't think I would be that comfortable owning a M5 Touring for a decade lol.
I ordered my first set of half downs from Topend. They are pricey, even when you txt and they give you VIP pricing. The second set that I ordered I used RHD Japan and they were $150 less expensive. My purchases were for the Ti2000 Springs which they do not import to the USA for the RX.
R*SR does sell the regular Down Sus Springs here in the USA for $369 direct
