Default Car Alarm Deactivation Process

Getting my spouse up-to-speed on using the RX350h RS350h. I'm reading on page 83 of the 648 page Owners Manual, the operation of the Theft Deterrent System.
I am struggling with the text addressing Deactivating or Stopping the alarm system.
It reads, Do one of the following to deactivate or stop the alarms.
- Unlock the doors.
- Turn the power switch to ACC or ON, or start the hybrid system.

Maybe I am reading too much into the instructions.
Does it matter which door is unlocked, Driver Door, Rear Door (Hatch), or must it be ALL Doors ?
I ask because a door can be unlocked four different ways. Do each of these methods qualify?
(a) bringing the FOB into close proximity of any door and grabbing the door handle or
(b) by pressing the Lock/Unlock button on the FOB, or
(c) by pressing the Open/Close Rear Door button on the FOB.
(d) by pressing the Open Button located above the rear license plate (or activating the Hands-Free 'kick' sensor)

It appears to me (anyway) we must do both unlock and start the vehicle as there is not an [,or] after the 'unlock the doors' text. After unlocking the door(s), do I still need to start the vehicle ?

I appreciate all feedback and insights, Cheers,
DEL92

as soon as you touch the door handles with the fob on you, the doors unlock and the alarm is deactivated.

A, b, c, or d alone deactivates the alarm. If you can somehow get in while it’s active (through an open window is probably the only way), hitting the start button deactivates as well.
