Yes, I have had the problem a couple of times with my iPhone. I didn’t put it together until I saw this.

@Urlik Is it possible my 2024 RX350 updated to 2170 without any on-screen notification? I was out of town and came back and it appears I got the 2170 update - on the left column I see the Lexus icons on the left side of the CarPlay icons. I thought everyone was getting some kind of notification before or after the update...

 

I'm pretty sure the factory started putting it into 2024s months before the OTA update rolled out to the rest of us. You probably had 2170 on delivery.

mine updated automatically. mid week it was still the old version and over the weekend it had the 2170. also updated the phone to IOS 17.6.1 and everything seems to work well.

 

Just for forum info, I am running the most recent iOS 18 public beta, and CarPlay works perfectly - no glitches I have noticed.
