Looking for RX 350H Premium+ (Iridium exterior) in DFW (TX) area.

Received a quote one of the dealer for 67K OTD price including tax and 63K without tax. MSRP: 62K

Is this normal or can I expect a better price?

Ours was $62,810 and paid roughly $60,400 plus tax of course.

Canadian price comparison. Once you take into account the exchange rate, our pricing seems cheaper than in the US. RX350 Ultra Luxury. $73k Canadian is around $53k USD. Ouch.

Hi SK0324--After you buyout your lease, can you provide numbers that demonstrate the economic advantage of the $7500 lease incentive? I've spoken with three dealerships about this "unconventional" lease non of them were willing to guarantee an economic advantage. One thought his estimate of buyout was within $1k of what I might experience. While this could be "sales talk" it could also represent the complexities of the lease and then quick purchase buyout.

No dealership will easily bring this up as it's not in their best interest to do so.

Best way to look at this is:
A. Finance= MSRP - negotiated discount off MSRP + tax + DMV (license and registration)
B. Lease with immediate buyout with 0 drive away as the first month payment is taken off the 7500 EV lease incentive = MSRP + lease acquisition fee - negotiated discount off MSRP - lease EV credit (subtract 1st month payment and title and registration and small tax from the 7500 EV lease credit) = Adjusted cap cost, you call Lexus Financials after a few days of taking delivery of the car to get your buyout amount which should be pretty close to your adjusted cap cost on your contract. After you send Lexus Financials the check they will send you the paperwork to take to DMV to re-title and pay the sales tax off that adjusted cap cost amount, depends on which state you live, some state I heard does double tax so it may not be worth it...do more research for your state!

There's defintiely more work involved with the lease/immediate buy out, in my case I saved ~5000 more compared to buying it outright, to some folks, this may or may not be worth their time.

Look in to Rav4 Prime forums as a lot of folks have done this in the past few years.

By my calculation, my RX450h+ registered in one of the most expensive county in California (10.75 tax rate) is about $73k all in

Default Clarity MSRP and OTD Price Paid

The first dealer I worked with had the vehicle I wanted at an MSRP of $57,320. I told them I wanted an out the door price of $57,000. They played with numbers and came up with $59,800. I said that was too much. THEN the next day, they got it down to $58,000 and after my trade-in, it lowered the taxes so it actually lowered the price to $57,500! BUT...this dealer was over an hour away and there was one 15 minutes from my house.

So...I took the build sheet they texted me to the second dealer. They didn't believe me, claiming the VIN was "cut off" and they couldn't see that it was the same vehicle they had. I showed them on the website and showed them the exact price. Then the "other guy" came in to try and discredit me. Claimed, "I've been here for eight years and I've never seen them discount a hybrid for $4,000! We'd be losing a lot of profit that way." I said, "Well, you just lost a customer."

So, today, I went to Butler Lexus of Atlanta and got the 2024 RX350h Premium out the door for $57,500! Not a bad deal.

Keep after the dealers. You'll get a better price but you have to work these guys.

Can you kindly clarify --> was the MSRP: $57,320 and the price you got out of the door was $57,500 which included the 7% GA Tax?

We recently purchases a loaded 2024 RX-450H PHEV for MRSP for the exact color combination that we wanted. Thank you Dallas Sewell Lexus!

I test drove a PHEV RX a few months ago and was able to "reserve" an allocated vehicle that was due to arrive in April. I feel that if you want a popular color combination for this relatively rare PHEV model, MSRP may be about the best you can hope for.

PHEV RX models are pretty rare, and from what I can tell they are all pretty loaded with options.

We purchased a loaded vehicle very similar to the sticker that Dhill posted. I don't have a screen grab, but our sticker shows:

Base MSRP $69,230

Factory options:
Cold area package $100
Convenience pkg $1420
Prem triple-beam headlights (these are awesome!) $1565
Mark Lev audio $1160
Adv park w/ remote park $480
Rear door w/ kick sensor $150
Prem paint $500
Tech pkg, digital key (pretty cool, can open/start vehicle w/ cell phones) $475

Port installed options:
Side puddle lamp $175
Illumination package $760
Key glove $25
Cargo net $75
Rear bumper applique $90
------
$76,205 MSRP
$1350 delivery, etc.
$77,555 TOTAL (on Moroney sticker)

Jim

Local dealer here has about 6 in stock all being discounted. You can do much better than msrp these days with most models and even hybrids.

Hi all! I have a general question...PLEASE don't come for me...LOL...It is a genuine concern. I have located 3 2024 FSports that I would be very interested in leasing (2 Caviar/Black 1 Cloudburst Gray/Black). The Lexus cash and the discount make them very appealing. The question is these FSports have been on the lot since December. I have always been weird about taking a vehicle that has been sitting that long. Am I being weird about that?

Well you could have purchased in Dec and it would be sitting in your driveway since then. I wouldn't worry about it.

Check for hidden damages. That's a lot of time and opportunity for people to door ding, get inside, scratch this and that. Also thet paint will be building up contaminants which require specific detailing to get out. That's fine, but they really send it to "the back" where a bunch of kids will take rags to it and "clean it" making it worse. Problem is if you request "no detail please," its impossible to see any scratches or dings underneath. Sort of a catch 22.

I'd try for a car that hasn't been sitting for nearly half a year.

Picked up a RX 450h+ over the weekend.

Nori Green Pearl w/black interior
MSRP was $75.860
sale price was $68,360 (just under 9% off) (before any rebates)
Did the lease for the extra $7500 rebate plus my retired Military $1K rebate.
Buyout is $64K. Easy $11.8K off sticker!

Congrats !
That’s a very nice discount.
Can you provide more information like the dealer’s name, and how much was the drive off?
I may just have to drive up there to get this deal.

Thank You.

I won't disclose the dealership publicly, because they're unlikely to discount that much again. However, they WILL give you under MSRP all day long.

MSRP: $75,860
Price Adjustment: -$7,212
Agreed Total Selling Price: $68,468 (includes a $1K Prepaid Maintenance plan)

Base Monthly Payment: $969
Money Down: $0 DAS
Term: 36 months
Mileage: 7.5k/yr
Money Factor: 0.00319
Adjusted Cap Cost: $65,640

I already canceled the $1K prepaid plan once my Lexus account was loaded. Just waiting until I get my plates and registration before buying it out. I spoke with Lexus Financial yesterday and was told I should wait so I don't risk any complications due to the DMV paperwork still being processed.

The monthly lease amount isn't great, however I was working on lowering the cap cost (i.e the buyout amount) since I knew we'd be owning it in under 45 days.

I live in NJ, dealership was in CT.
