We are about to take delivery of a Luxury 450h+, just waiting for it to arrive. Worried that the AC will not cool well enough. Live in Las Vegas and the summer heat is brutal. Have found out multiple negative things about the RX lately. A/C Performance, ML Stereo sound quality, $4300 headlights assy, 21 inch tire availability and price. Think it is time to rethink if we should do this deal at all.

The ML stereo in my RX 350h is awesome!

I have a 2016 with ML and this is not worse by any means. Very clear and powerful sound, even when cranked up. Keep in mind that I steam music usually over Bluetooth or CarPlay / Android Auto which might have worse sound quality.

i have had my car for about 2 months now, driven 4500kms (2812 miles) and so far I LOVE the car. My personal opinion and I am very picky.

BTW, any new car will have components and headlamps that cost several thousands. Days of cheap headlamps are gone now that everyone is going to LEDs and smart headlamps. Not sure what car you have in mind that has cheap replacement headlamps.

Vehicle does have panoramic sunroof which allows large sun exposure, but I always keep it closed with sunshade barrier closed as well. Will try ceramic window tint on all windows. Hopefully this will help. I know the refrigerant is ozone friendly so it’s probably not the best at cooling. I may take it in for a check if window tinting doesn’t help. Anyone else experiencing this issue ?

it’s a common problem in many Lexus models i have RX350 2024 , 2000km only and had my Ac checked 2 tines already stopped blowing cold air and sometimes only the passenger vent are working.

If any of you use Carista, you can adjust your ambient temp. A/C settings to -2°,it will help. If not familiar with Carista, it's an OBD adaptor you can plug in & download the app on your phone. You'll need a subscription, but you can make ALOT of changes then cancel subscription.
it can disable seatbelt warnings, adjust turn signal sound level & many other things as well. Then you unplug it & drive on!
