How cold does your air conditioning get?
I've noticed the AC in my IS takes longer than other cars to cool in recent days.
I know it depends on outside temperature, but how cold can your A/C get on a typical summer day? (80-100F)

3 minutes max on the "LOW" temperature setting with the climate control at 2 bars with outside temperatures of 95. I start the car, let it run with the AC on, and come back. I also have tints on every window which helps significantly.
It’s getting hot here in SoCal and I noticed my ac took a while to get cold. I turned it on with the fan medium and it was blowing hot air for several minutes before any cooler air started blowing...
Others cars I’ve been in/had previously got cold A lot sooner.

yeah the 3IS AC sucks. i made a post a while back about the AC vent air not getting cold and dealer replacing the temp doors. They replaced both sides and 1 side is acting up again not even a year later. with AC vent air on full low, there is a noticeable difference between driver and passenger temps that you can feel just by putting your hand in front of the blowing air. Seems like it's going to be a problem for the life of the vehicle.
EDIT: my mistake, the temp issues i was having were with AC off (outside air vented air)--i corrected my post above. But AC air has still struggled on very hot days (90+ F) compared to other cars. I would imagine the temp door malfunctions would affect AC temps also though, so that might explain why some people have good experiences with 3IS AC and others do not. It's probably just not as noticable with the AC on.

I dont have a thermometer to check mine so i havent voted. But i live in chicago and my 3is is white, with 35% tints all around, and use a sun shield for the windshield. Even when we were in the mid 90's, my AC started blowing cold in seconds from turning it on. It would become comfortable in the car within a few minutes. After around 10 minutes i would get too cold and turn the AC to about 70 degrees
Location Europe, Romania. White 3IS, no tints just factory glass (with 5% or some protection). We have hot summers with over 90 degrees. Just as previous post above, within a couple of minutes it gets really comfortable and after 10-15 minutes, I have to turn up the climate because I'm starting to freeze.

On the past few days 80-95F, my AC measures around 45-50F on max setting. This is slightly underwhelming but still within normal range based on the poll. I will bring it up to my service adviser on my next visit and report back.
Thanks for the reply guys.
