Question Windshield wiper linked headlight illumination

Hello,
Can anyone confirm if Windshield wiper linked headlight illumination function works on their 5th gen RX.
This function doesn't work on our RX450h+.

I can verify that "wipers on = lights on" during daytime, works on our 500h.

I believe there is a setting that can turn this on or off...start searching...Didn't find it after 15 minutes...

There's no such setting, but apparently it's programable by the dealer. By default it should be enabled, but it's not the case with our RX.

OK, I didn't get to the FEATURES section of the owners manual, that lists which settings are customizable by owners or dealers...but I DID see it in there somewhere!

It does work, but I will say that its not instantaneous - in other words, you flip the wipers on, the headlights don't instantly come on. There must be some duration metric in the setup that engages the lights.

During a 2 day trip and almost constant rain the lights never came ON, no matter how long we have waited. I hope it's programmable and not an omission in European spec RX.

You have a European spec car. Each country has it's own specifications. Check the specs for western EU spec cars.

The screenshot of the owner's manual I have posted is from the European owner's manual.
