As I've read out here, you can have your Fob programed to add features. Witht he weather turning, I want to be able to have all the windows rolled down with the Fob to release all the hot air. Stopped by the dealer, they said it's a $110 charge.

Anybody else experience this?

Went to my local dealership (Bellevue, WA) as well for this feature. They told me that this request is called Lexus Personalized Settings and its found on a website which I can't find. Here is the only website that I can find. When the website is found, there's a list of settings which we can choose from and our dealership can do it for free once and a fee after the fact.

I imagine the dealer has the setting options, will have to ask before I take delivery.

Lexus Personalized Settings allows certain electronic functions to be customized to an owner's individual preference, such as:

• Automatic Door Locks

• Theft-Deterrent System

• Power Window System

• Illuminated Entry System

• & Moonroof Operation

Each Lexus model has a different set of customizable electronic features. Depending on the model, programming of these features is performed once at no charge either at the 30-day/1,000-mile scheduled maintenance service, or the 6-month/5,000-mile scheduled service. Programming of some Lexus Personalized Settings[*] requires special equipment and may be performed only by an authorized Lexus dealership. For more information, please see your local Lexus dealer.

Note: FREE OF CHARGE.

*The Lexus Personalized Settings (LPS) can be programmed in two ways: For select settings, the driver can modify these settings themselves through the vehicle display screen. Other setting changes must be performed by your Lexus dealer via a one-time, complimentary offer during the first 12 months from the date the vehicle is sold. See your local Lexus dealer for more information.

When I made the phone appointment with my dealer, I mentioned the personalizations. I asked them the cost. They said they were complimentary, and they were.

Pisses me off and makes me less trustful. Strike 2. Strike 1 was when they quoted me $800 for tinting two front windows.
