Default How to change fob battery?

On my last car, I had to replace the key fob battery often. I made the mistake of buying some cheap junk on Amazon and I was lucky if they lasted a month. I switched to Duracell, and they lasted. The point being that the batteries were easy to replace.

Yesterday I took a look at the new key fob and I couldn't figure out how to take it apart.
1. Does it even have a mechanical key inside?
2. Where's the hole in the handle for a mechanical key?

Thanks for that. In my last 4 years with the RAV, I never once had to pull out the manual. It had about the same amount of electronics. It was more intuitive.

If you're close to a Lexus dealer they'll change it. No charge-as often as you need it.

I remember one of my service receipts, I think the third, they changed the the battery in my FOB without asking at no charge. I would not have known if I did not look at the receipt. Lexus of Jacksonville has always been top rate for me!

I have never had a FOB battery go bad.

There are probably many features that you missed.
