Default Constant Alarm Beep

Anyone ever experienced a constant alarm sound when operating their vehicle. I put the key in the ignition and the sound starts up. It emanates from the right rear door area. The sound goes away 5 seconds or so after I turn the car off. Sounds like a defective sensor to me.

Any thoughts before I take it in for service?

Can you confirm the model and year of your vehicle? I ask because there is no place to insert a key in this generation of Lexus RX. It just makes me wonder if you are posting in the right place?

With that said, I would agree with your sensor diagnosis on an RX. The car behaves like there is an object close to the right rear corner. You should look at the sensors on that corner and make sure they are clean and not coated in dirt or salt (bumper sticker?). Outside of that, I agree with a visit to the dealer.

2021 RX350L AWD.

I've examined the seatbelt, doors, changed the back seats from up to down and back. I'll look around the corner of the car as well. FYI, there are no warning messages.

I'm pretty sure this is a sensor issue. I know that multiple systems (at least six) connect around the hub of the right rear wheel. Since I have had major sensor reporting issues in the past, I'm concerned that there may be more gremlins like this.

I got lucky and Lexus is sliding me into an afternoon service time slot. I'll update this post upon resolution.
