Buyer beware. Many of these illegal Techstream software packages contain malware, and some of the adapters have very limited capabilities. I've had both the cheap version, and now a pro subscription to Techstream with a Mongoose adapter. There's no fair comparison for functionality especially when you try to datalog.

this is why i have held off on getting one of these. If I had a old junker laptop (Windows machine) kicking around then I would probably go for it, but I have read about horror stories of people given remote access to their machines to some unknown guy in China.
I would love a full subscription but the cost is too much for what I need it to do. I did a couple of day download on TIS to get documents which is well worth the minimal cost.

You need to open the Toyota launcher patch and every time it will activate the software for 3 days.
I think it should be on the CD.
