We are considering a Green RX(450h). My wife, and a little bit me, is a little concerned about a "Green" car. Any Green RX owners who can give us info as to how they like the car after a few miles? The colour looked good on a sedan on the dealers lot, in the sun, but the more she thinks about it, the more she is becoming apprehensive. Never owned a green car. Not a lot on the road.
I think that green cars take a hit in deprecation and they are the least sought after color. I would stay away from a green one.

Buy the car with the color you like the best. If I was worried about saving money on future resale, I wouldn't buy a $50-60k car. Go for it if you like it.

I'd pretend I hated the green color when buying the car from you as a bargaining chip. But as soon as I drove off I'd be grinning ear to ear. I think the green color is desirable and shows the body off better than black or gray.

If you only saw the color on a car, I think you need to see it on an RX to be sure. Originally Posted by SamtheSham

It seems that every car we see is either White, Black, or some variation of silver/grey. The green one we are looking at is the only one with the equipment we like, and is due in in a week or so. Will just have to wait to see how my wife likes it when she sees it. She is the deciding factor, I only write the checks.....
Todays Market its take it or leave. The color i wanted was dark blue, but the wife overruled that! LOL.

If you are not in a bind for a vehicle order exactly what she wants. You will just have to be patient

I'm not a green color person, and you're correct that you don't see many green ones. The 2016 I had was that unpopular Autumn Shimer (Brown) color, and Lexus was happy to take it off my hands.
The only thing I found out about unpopular RX's colors vs the Eminent White I have now that it was easier to find in a Target parking lot.
Buy what you like it's your money....

For what it’s worth, I think it’s a hideous color. As to getting what you want, I bought a RX two weeks ago. The car was in production and took me two weeks to get it, and I got a $500 discount. There were a few I could have taken delivery on within weeks.

Color is such a personal choice. IMO I think the green after a very short time one would get tired of it. If I saw a green, white and atomic silver in a parking lot would not even notice the green RX.

Really dark greens aren't bad, especially if they have a bit of metallic. Honda had that color on their Pilot for a while and it was really sharp. It looked black in some light, and a really dark, shimmering green in bright light. The Lexus Nori Green, though, is a little too Vlasic for my taste. Too each his own, though. What I would not do is buy a car I really didn't like just because it was available, even in today's market. The dopamine rush is fleeting; the car will be in your garage for a long time.
I just bought a '22 Nori Green / Caramel a few weeks ago, essentially sight unseen (pictures are obviously different than in the metal). I get a lot of compliments since it is a color rarely seen. In the sunlight it has a gold metallic that really pops, and at night you'd think it was black. I'm not concerned with resale, being a Lexus and all, and it's a nice departure from my '18 Nebula Grey ES.
But as you'll see on a lot of posts throughout the forum, get what you like and enjoy it!

That is my situation. The cars are coming in to the dealer. We saw the Nori Green on an RX350, but want a 450h. Car should be in next week, and then SHE decides if she likes it or not. Checking other dealers in the area, very few 450h's are available.Originally Posted by mropp
