Default Anybody knows what are these?

I was diagnosing a rattle on the b-pillar / passenger dash and found these in the glove box. I guess I did not notice them when I got the car a month ago...

According to the package the dealer is supposed to install those in the floor rails. 90050-901259 is not a Toyota or Lexus part number though, and made in China?

I'm guessing they are to cover the holes left after the tie down chains for shipment were removed?

Exactly. If you look underneath your car, you will see two holes, one on each side--about even with the seats IIRC--that these plugs should be put in. The dealer should have installed them. It's a good idea to install these, as the holes will allow water/mud/etc to enter the frame rails, which isn't a good idea.

Installed them today. I guess I dodged a bullet because winter is coming and the salted roads of NE would have been bad. I drove the car for 1800 miles without it though. Do you think that could have caused any damage?

plee82, where did you buy your Lexus from? My wife's came from Herb Chambers in Sharon, and mine came from Lexus of Northborough.

Any damage? I seriously doubt it unless you drove through some really deep water, in which case it should dry out anyway since its still warm out.
