Jerky acceleration while turning
2017 RX350 super low mileage. First noticed the problem while driving up a mountain pass with switchbacks on dry pavement. While turning and accelerating on hair-pin bends acceleration is jerky even on dry roads. This occurs when accelerating on flat turns as well and in either direction. Otherwise car runs perfectly with no noises and turns normally it’s only the acceleration that is impacted.

What you’re experiencing is the hesitation caused by the drive by wire throttle system. Buy a Sprint Booster, and say goodbye to the “drive by wire” hesitation. BTW, I tried the Pedal Commander, and it worked as advertised, but the control unit was too bulky. Love the adjustment, and performance results of the Sprint Booster. I bought mine from Sprint Booster sales dot com. Best $299 that you’ll spend on that nice RX.

Its normal, every so often you'll also notice when your on the brakes slowing down, it'll down shift rather harshly causing you to depress the brake pedal abruptly and harder than you want for a quick second. Very annoying and people think you drive with a lead foot.
