These pictures are from 2017 RX 450h.
I am the second owner and bought it like this from a Lexus dealer on Feb 01 this year.
I saw that there was a broken fuel tank protector, pn 776060E050, didn't seem important, however only recently noticed that something went through it and left a mark on fuel tank.
I covered it in polyurethane to prevent from elements and reduce possibility of rusting.
I also noticed that a support post (or whatever its proper name is) on the left is mounted wrong. It should be under shroud, but the black part of it is broken so they just screwed it from the top. I don't like this.
I want to replace that post but I can't seem to identify the part number using website (https://parts.lexus.com/p/62976886/776060E050.html) It is the same post you can see on the second picture, on the right.
Anyone can help me with identifying a part # for it?
Any recommendation how to fix that hole? Replace a 776060E050 part? Or just use closed cell foam and fill it, then shape it as a part? A concern with using foam is that it would allow moisture to collect behind, help in rusting that spot.
