Can you jump start the car? I found several videos showing to jump start and then the door would open.

I was advised it's better to charge the battery which is located in the trunk instead of jump starting. Now trying to figure how to open the trunk.

There is a small pop-out cover inside on the lower portion of the door.

Remove the cover.
To protect the cover, place a rag between the
flathead screwdriver and cover as shown in
the illustration.
Move the lever. (down and to the right)

Thanks for the reply, Jim.

"as shown in the illustration"

I had a dead battery last month as the car has been sitting there for about 3 weeks.

Then i realize the battery is dead, ok no big deal, I have my battery jump starter beside the spare tire.

Oh wait, I can't get into the trunk since its electronic, let me lower the back seat, wait they are electronic controlled as well.

Ended up crawling to the back over the back seats

It's possible to jump start from the front like shown here (no crawling involved!)

I talked with one electrician who worked at Lexus, he suggested to jump start from the rear battery - for some reason it's safer?
