Default Front-End grill opening

The dealership stated they checked all RX's on their lot and every one only had the plate on the passenger side. They're saying it's by design and waiting for verification from Lexus. Has as anyone heard of this?

Just curious, but what year/model are you talking about?
Could it be an air intake for something?

On the '18, at least, there is an oil cooler behind there (driver side, US) if you have the Tow Prep Package.

Default Is my grill/bumper missing a piece or was it made this way?

I've had my 2020 Lexus RX for 3 months, but only noticed this today. Is it missing a piece on the right side? The left has a ribbed black plastic piece inside that bottom space.

I do miss the fog lights and cornering lights of my NX, but that's all. Thanks!

I have a 2020 with the tow package and you can see the oil cooler through the opening on the driver's side. The passenger side is blocked off as shown in your photos.

Default Need help:Possible missing part 2022 Lexus Rx 450 H

2022 Lexus Rx 450 H
I recently noticed that there is a small plastic grill piece missing on the drivers side underneath the actual bumper that has similar bigger grill. Is this normal or we lost it. A dealership says the gap is normal to get air to theoil coolant that is located on the drivers side. is that correct?

I believe that is correct, it's an air inlet

It is correct if you have the tow package. Look further back in this thread for more information.

Default Lower grill ribbed plastic piece missing

Was washing my 2021 rx350 and noticed that the facial piece on the drivers side lower grill was missing. It's a ribbed piece of plastic and is in place on the other side. Not easy to notice it's missing until you see it...haha
Could have been missing since new.
The car does not have a mark on it has never been hit bay anything. Just of 7000 miles on it.

is this an easy piece to install if I can find one.

Any advice is appreciated...

Thanks, John

If you are talking about the very thinly-ribbed facial piece, it is only for the passenger side. The same area on the driver's side is open. Vehicles with the tow package have an oil cooler behind the open area, and it is open to provide air flow. I have a 2020 Base without the tow package, and fascia on the passenger and driver's side is the same as yours.
