Default Engaging E-Brake

When I first bought the car the e brake would automatically engage when I’d put the car in park. Now I park on obvious hills and it does not engage. Is there a way to make it start engaging again?

I believe you can turn on and off the "automatic parking brake" feature by pulling the lever (as if you're engaging the brake manually) but hold for about 2 second until a beep is heard. Same action is used to toggle the "auto brake" setting.

What "lever" are you talking about? The only way I know is the button on the console to turn it on/off.

My fault calling that a lever because I thought one's pulling/lifting it instead of depressing it as in the case of normal buttons.

I also would call it a lever (or toggle) as it gets pulled as well as pushed.

Read/see page 22 of your owners's manual quick guide for full instructions regards "Parking Brake"

Default Anyone know how to activate the auto parking brake?

I noticed that since the service I did last week the auto parking break function is deactivated, like usually when I shift to "P" the car will automatically activate the parking break, but now I need to manually press the parking. Anyone know how to activate that function again? Thanks
