Default High tire pressure?

I have a new 2019 which I've had for about a month. 900 miles on it. I just saw on my pressure monitor on the screen that tire pressure shows as 43 to 45 PSI when cold. I've been driving the car that way for nearly a month, 900 miles. Could that be? Could it be listed as some kind of "metric reading" or something? Seems odd and unusual. Car has michellin tires. 2019 rx350 base model with 18" wheels. What gives?

I'll check pressure tomorrow with a manual tire gauge.

Not unusual.
Dealer probably forgot to set tire pressure to man. specs before delivery.
Just adjust tire pressure to your desired psi.

Specs should be on the door jamb
33 psi front/rear i believe.
I think thats too low.
I set my old as 300 turd to 38 psi around.

When I visit my dealer the tires usually come out of it with 35-37 psi when cold. Not sure why they do not follow Lexus recommendations.

After driving for a couple of hundred miles I checked ours and they were at 31 around. Only reason I checked was it felt a little mushy! Figured the dealer had them set low to mask the effect the 20” have on the ride.

Finally set them to 34 all the way around today, cold. Incredible the difference it made in ride! I had been disappointed with the harsh ride and figured that was just part of the deal. Much nicer now!

Let the car cool down for more than 1 hour and set the pressure to 32-34. Over 35/36 when cold is probably too high.
