Default 2016 rx350 cradle assembly, mobile wireless charger

I just bought this used 2016 Lexus RX350, it's exported from the U.S and does not have the wireless charger, is it possible to install the CRADLE ASSEMBLY, MOBILE WIRELESS CHARGER part# 861C0-48030

wow, over 600$ for that item ??
i have heard that the OE charges very slowly. If i were looking for a solution, i would find a fast charge rectangle charger that would fit in that area, before trying to spend $600 +

have had fast wireless charging for many years, on our phones

You can add a 5W Inbay Qi charger for about $50 by just placing the charging coils under the base plastic. See post #27 on this thread.

sure It is a very expensive option, but if you want a clean look and no wires? this is the cost, however, I found a used one from a local supplier for a less cheap around $150. my only concern now is, will it work?

you have to get in there and dig around to see if the wiring is there.
for me, it would have to fast charge, and from all the complaints of the factory one slow charging its not a viable option for me.

good luck on your journey,

12V at 1A is 12W. The USB connector is 5V at 1A or 5W. The problem is that some of these wireless chargers do not employ the handshaking and protocol to supply Max power. For example, Apple only supports up to 7.5W wireless charging while some Android phones support up to 10W. In fact, some wireless chargers that supply 10W to Android phones, will supply 5W to iPhones because they do not support the Apple way of fast charging.
