That typically holds a plastic panel to seat or wall. Maybe the plastic cover on the seat back?

what area of the car did you find it.. and did you have any recent service to your car?

the previous poster is correct in that the clip is normally used to hold plastic panels to the body of the car.. if someone serviced your car recently and needed to pull panels its possible one of them was dislodged and went unnoticed.

I recently got tint put on my car and they did take off the door panel.. Ok am pretty sure it belongs somewhere behind the door panel now

Would it be a big deal if this part is not on?

In that case, it most probably belongs to the door panel. Without them, the door panel will rattle.

See this post on how to remove the door panel and put them back. Given that the tint shop completely miss this, I would argue for a refund and then do the door correctly myself.

its not a BIG deal. the door panel MAY rattle. but its not definite it will
there is normally a slew of these clips - so if one is missing its not a big deal.
its a nuisance the tint people didn't notice that the clip came off.. but i have pulled panels in my other car and one of these flew off and i didnt notice. so its not unheard of..

if it bothers you enough.. and you are not comfortable pulling the panel.. you can take it back and ask them to remedy it.. i mean if you show them the clip they will know its from the door panel..
