Why? I don't understand, buy a nice car and cover with ugly seat covers. My car has 86k miles and seats are in excellent condition, even the drivers seat.

True but I'm not trying to get my seat covered in oil due to work. A seat cover help protect my seat and in the weekend I take them off.

I just use my girlfriends 2009 Accord with cloth seats whenever we go hiking, or have to drive for physical activity.

If her seats get dirty Resolve carpet cleaner is magic at removing stains. I've used Resolve to remove old stain in my GS headliner from the previous owner and grease stain from when I did the sunroof seal swap.
