It seems 2019 US model is identical to 2018.
How about Canadian Model for 2019? are they going to add Enform? ( RX in Canada does not have Enform - they added to NX for 2018)
I guess we should rename this topic.... 2020 changes. :-) I was waiting as well to see what the 2019 changes would be (hopefully carplay) but went ahead and bought a 2018 because the deals were too good. I'll be following what Lexus does going forward on the RX - looking forward to seeing what is added down the road.
LKA (keeping) vs. LCA (centering) are two different things. Apparently centering means it keeps you in the center, whereas keeping helps keep you from leaving your lane.

You are absolutely correct. I have them both. Page 287 of the owners manual -- Lane Centering Function.
Can we assume then that there will be no change in safety features between 2018 and 2019 model RXs? I'm thinking of features like lane centering, etc.
To be more specific,I'm wondering about features like systems that can provide road sign information and can help keep your vehicle centered in its lane on highways with gradual curves. These features are being added to the 2019 ES according to Lexus - https://www.lexus.com/safety. The 2018 LS already has an optional Lexus Safety System+ A package that among other things:
*reads certain road signs: As part of the package’s expanded scope of hazard detection, Lexus Safety System+ A has a new Road Sign Assist (RCA)* feature that employs the navigation system* and a camera to highlight select road-safety signs on the LS’s windshield display and/or multi-display screen.
Sounds like many of you would like self driving cars. Try Cadillac's SuperCruise.
The SuperCruise system isn't fully self driving and, in any case, I'm not looking for a self-driving car. But I am wondering why the 2019 Lexus RX wouldn't include a feature like Road Sign Assist, which has been available since June or July on the 2019 Toyota Corolla hatchback. Another part of the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 package that was promised for mid-2018, Lane Tracing Assist, sounds interesting, but I'm not sure how this differs from lane centering. Apparently when we replace our current RX, we'll have to look at the available features on the Toyota Highlander, not to mention various non-Toyota vehicles.

LTA is the next gen upgrade and will bring toyota closer techs to tesla autopilot or nissan propilot. Its supposed to be better at lane centering, recognize curbs(not just painted street lines), will automatically follow the car in front of you when lanes are not clearly marked, etc.
For people who do lots of highway driving it's a must have IMO.

The 2019 Toyota Corolla hatchback already has LTA and the 2019 RAV4 will likewise have it. I frankly don't understand why Toyota is neglecting this safety enhancement in the 2019 Lexus RX, but adding the feature in some of its less expensive cars. Or so it seems, after hearing that there will be no changes in the 2019 Lexus RX.
