Not sure the new one comes out July 10th be better or not.

Good luck to you...
Thanks for your advice- he has come down to $47, 480 (with Lexus cash) but said he had a feeling tomorrow would have same/better specials so we are waiting until tomorrow. Here's hoping! Don't know if I should trust or push for more off?

With 1500 cash, you should offer 46000 before tax and fee. They'll call you after you leave, if not, go to another dealer.
Good luck...

Looks like cash rebates remain $1500 for RX and $1000 for RXL good until 7/30

EDIT: If you look at the Lexus site, they are offering $2500 in lease cash towards the RX 350, not $1500 (at least in Ohio).

"Available on approved credit to very well qualified customers through Lexus Financial Services and participating Lexus dealers on a new 2018 RX 350 AWD. Not all customers will qualify. Offer based on MSRP of $52,758 including delivery, processing and handling. Offer already includes $2,500 in Lease Cash incentives applied as a capitalized cost reduction. Monthly payment may vary depending on final price of vehicle & your qualifications. You pay $0.25 per mile over 10,000 per year. See dealer for vehicle and lease program details. Must take delivery by 07/31/2018. NE, KS, MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, MO, KY, MI, OH. Lexus Financial Services is a division of Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (TMCC). TMCC is the authorized attorney-in-fact and servicer for Toyota Lease Trust."

So for Southern Ca we got an extra $750 in lease cash ($1750) from $1000. Pretty marginal gain. I’m sure MF went up so a wash?

Navigation Package
Cold Weather Package
Panorama Glass Moonroof
Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Braking and Intuitive Parking Assist
Heated and Ventilated Front Seats
Bi-LED Headlamps with Adaptive Front Lighting System
Touch-Free Power Rear Door
Heated Steering Wheel

I've found it's basically impossible to get one just like the above, with nothing else, unless I custom order. Not planning on doing that. Most everything on dealer lots has the tow package, 20" wheels, and some sort of floor mats option. MSRP on ones similar to what we want is $55,300-$55,800ish.

I've been working some numbers with a few dealers today, and all of them are offering at most $4-5k off the car. Is this the best I can do in my area, or am I just not working hard enough? Selling prices have been $51-52k on MSRP's of $55300-$56k.

Are there any discounts I am missing? We're looking to finance, and unfortunately do not won a competitor, and we are not military or recent college grads.
Too bad Lexus doesn’t offer ordering like BMW does with discounts. I’m looking for an RX 450h with basically 4 options, navigation, 20 inch rims, heated and ventilated seats ans blind spot. Most have either hardly any options and jump to loaded with stuff like mud guards, towing, mud mats, sunroof, leather/wood sterling etc etc. with mKe the price go up quickly. Frustrating.

I was quoted for a lease for a 2018 RX.
$60,800 sticker price
$2650 down
$2200 MSD
12K/YEAR/48 months
$665/monthly

I think this is too high. I'm thinking of counter offering for $600/month with all the above numbers. Any suggestions?

Bad deal, don’t do it. Don’t put money down on a lease. It’s like renting an apartment and giving the landlord $2000 to lower the rent. A lease is a rental agreement, you don’t get equity like you do with a purchase. Shoot for 10% off, use MSD’s bc you get them back.

Now that the Golden Opportunity Sales event is going on, how does the below deal sound? I'm driving 4 hrs one way to get it, local dealer won't play ball, and this is the only one with a Panorama Moonroof and the options we want.

MSRP $55893
Discount: $3750
Aftermarket add ons: $264
Sale Price: $42143
Trade Allowance of $10500 (fair for our trade)
Trade Difference: $41907
Doc Fee: $300
Taxes: $2020 (5%)
License and Fees: $538
Total Cash Price: $44764
Down payment: $10000
Rebate: $1500
Unpaid Balance: $33264
Financed over 60 months at 3.14% to $599.79/mo

In my opinion this deal is not worth driving 4 hours. It's not worth driving period. Is the 1500 rebate included in the 3700 discount? If that's the case it is a terrible deal. You need to get at least 10% discount plus the rebate on top.

Thanks. My issue is, this is the only one with the build I like WITH the Panorama sunroof, everything else is just the regular size sunroof. Not a deal breaker, but it really is preferred.

Obviously, I haven't committed to this yet, but is there any tactful way to tell the guy we need a better deal? I'm not sure if negotiating for a Lexus is the same as for a Wrangler, which is the only other new car we have bought.

I would try to find another dealer that has an RX with similar MSRP regardless of options and try to get a better price. Once you do, get the other one to compete. You could also consider shipping it from another dealer. I am pretty sure that if you try hard you can get at least 6K off plus the rebate. I wouldn’t settle for anything less than 10% before the rebate. And don’t get intimidated by the shiny dealership. Be direct and tell them what you want.

Does this include sales tax? If not, it's not a good deal.
