Fuse help needed for dash cam
you will know if you have power by the green LED light will be lit on the power magic black box.
when I connected all the power leads up and checked for the first time I thought I'd done something wrong because the green LED power light was OFF, so I started the car up and it then must of engaged itself because when I powered down the car the green LED stayed ON for ever now.weird I know.
there is No on/off power switch as such, just plug in the cigar plug into the socket and tap the yellow wire to the hazard fuse and the red wire (I used) the power outlet fuse, then secure the ground to the chassis of the car and its powered for ever.
i added the USB connection for my Mi-Fi box also attached to the magic power box to save drain on battery. Running a treat all through night, cameras still powered and Mi-Fi box powered still over the Cloud
Good luck

looks like your power magic box is slightly different to the one I have in the UK from blackvue direct.we have NO on/off switch but looks like you have a POWER LED next to dip switches like ours
(see photo of booklet which came with it)
Hey guys am about to hardwire my dashcam and just wondering where should I tap it into the fuse box? I dont need it to have power all the time. I just want the dashcam on when the car is started and off when the car is off. Thanks guys
