Default Re-routing USB cable under console

My USB cable kept getting tangled up with my water bottle. So I routed it under the console using the page 19 of the Rear Entertainment Installation Instructions. I had to remove items #2-7 and #10-12. #12 just needed to be pulled out enough to route the cable in between the lighter and the cubby. Note that there are two screws that need to be removed to take out #11. Once screw is under the shift assembly, the second is under the joystick module.

In the end, I found that the seam between the little cubby and top portion next to the SD card for navigation has enough clearance to route the cable through it.

Her with a mirror, so you can see where it is exiting the console:

I just let the cable go under the joystick/armrest assembly and routed it under the console with the cup holders.

Nice! I used a flat sided USB cable and was able to snake that under the center console trim up to my phone mount, a lot less labor intensive and it's completely hidden If anyone has the Rioja Red interior, these cables were perfect:

They are available from multiple vendors on eBay for about $15. I purchased one and have found that it fits well and makes the center console much more useful. Here's a link to one currently on eBay:
