I've got a 17 RX and an iPhone 7 plus and everything connects fine but the music comes outta the iPhone instead of the RX but I have full control from both RX and iPhone and iPhone says it's connected to the RX, I've got mark levison BTW, anyone experience this?

I believe the iPhone remembers the last mode used with the current connection set (Bluetooth or built in speaker). You might need to slide up from the bottom, slide right to left to the pane that shows the music playing and select Bluetooth as the output. This is in the bottom pull down menu. This can also be selected with the iTunes app by sliding up until the current song fills the whole screen Then tap the little up arrow with circles around to select Bluetooth as the connection to stream the song. Then from then on it should default to Bluetooth.
If you are using USB cable to charge the phone, you can select dock connector to stream the song through USB for greater fidelity.
In my case, I had the iPhone connected with USB cable. But, the first time I played music in the car, it streamed through Bluetooth. After selecting dock connector, it switch to USB streaming. Now every time I plug the USB cable in the car, it uses USB to stream the songs.
