Well, when I and my wife driving together, sometime it is really annoying to cannot do anything while the car is moving!

These are for passenger use only while the car is in motion.
Yes I agree! I wish Lexus allowed the passenger to click "liability waiver when the vehicle is moving" sim to Audi and BM. Their is so many times my GF is right next to me and could easily enter and update a nav destination and we have to call Destination Assist which is a waste of time and not always reliable or have to disconnect the enform app have the pax save destination and re-sync.... Not sure why Lexus hasn't gone the route of their luxury branded peers.
Not as a bad as range rover. I remember when driving a friends range I think I had to set the parking brake to modify the nav destination.
hi guys, i've heard many people who said they are able to disable the navigation lock. it means that u can use the functions of the navigation system while the car is in motion.
Long ago I knew of the secret buttons on the screen to push to get my LX470 to do this but there is no secret way found for the RX as of yet. IF anyone discovers you would hear about it here.
Until then, this 3rd party hardware is the only solution to fool the NAV system.
