My friend was park his car on the street and there were couple kids play around and he got hit tthe tail light with football ball the tail light was broke , and he bought one from Ebay , we're able to remove the tail light and we're able to remove all the tab but impossible to disconnect the connector, any one know how to remove the carpet to disconnecto the connectoe please help

The tab that secures the connector may be hidden. We really need you to take pictures or videos of what your problem is. Your description is very vague is missing important details for us to help you assess the problem.
