RX350 tail light removal
Need help replacing the left (driver side) tail light on side panel. How do you get the inner panel off to get to the screws. I can only get off the small patch to access the light bulb replacment. Pissed that lexus does not offer just a lens and you have to replace entire tail light assembly for a cracked lens.

brentag04, welcome to CL! Sorry to hear you're having difficulty with your ride. Other options you might consider:
- find the tail light assembly at a salvage yard. It will likely be a lot cheaper than a new dealer part.
- check eBay or Amazon...again, likely cheaper

Yes; tailights have been whole assemblies for most companies for a few years; even for a Ford they are $300...if a wreckiing years has them they will chargeyou HALF of new price, and I can tell you they know the NEW price as quickly as the Lexus dealer...lol. Ebay is defiinitely a great second choice;;even Lexus dealers selling on there. I can't find the post, but a dealer was selling Luggage rack cross members for an RX350 for much less than it was on my stricker, which is usually less than Parts Dept price!!

The nuts are there under that same cover the bulbs are, take a flashlight and look in around. I used a flex head ratchet and deep 10mm socket to remove mine. I believe there were 4 nuts in total. The studs protrude from the taillights themselves.

The corners are fairly easy, accessed through covers in the cargo area. The liftgate portion is a bit more challenging from what I remember. I replaced my tail lights with the Meteo lights and it required a little wire splicing so I had to remove inner liftgate cover to access wiring but unsure if you can access bolts for lights with out removing panel. You will be able to tell right away once you look at it. I never used a "how to" guide... its pretty straight forward. However, if you do need to remove inner liftgate panel use caution and take it slow so you dont break clips...they slide out from there mounts so dont pull too hard, I made that mistake. 🙁

2010 RX350: how to remove tail light?
My LED break light not working. Trying to remove the tail light. Unable to remove trim to get to the nuts holding it.
Yes, I have seen video on youtube, but my trim is different and the break light is LED, so there is no light bulb.
Please help.
