BTW, I still have hesitation in the transmission. The service tech that was working with me has same RX and issues with transmission, but did not know about TSB.
Thank you so much for posting this.

Does anyone know if you can access the current software version in any of the menus.
I was able to see this on my Dodge Challenger.

Angry Drivability Issues with 2016 RX350?

We took delivery of a 2016 RX350 about a year ago. It has most all of the options. We have had 3 other Lexus vehicles and have been extremely satisfied with them. But this one has drivability issues! Is anyone else having drivability issues with the 2016 RX350? Ours hesitates/stumbles/shutters while accelerating below 40 mph. We understand it is a known problem which Lexus has been unable to fix to date! We have had it into the shop on at least four occasions. They recently re-programed the system, which has not corrected the problem.

Our 2016 RX350 has significant hesitation/stumbling/surging issues during acceleration. Lexus has just completed a service bulletin which has not corrected the issues. In addition, when using adoptive cruise control the transmission sometimes does not upshift completely unless cruise is disconnected and reconnected. We are very disappointed.

You need to confirm if the Lexus master techs at the dealership did a full system reset when applying the service bulletin acceleration fix or take it to another dealership in town for that issue. I told them my acceleration issue prior to the TSB and now my RX is finally fun to drive.

Mine was not done correctly the first time. They have to remove the battery to reset after they install the TSB. Perhaps they are forgetting this step.

Louay1978, This is great news for us. I have an appointment made for about 2 weeks from now. Hopefully that will address everything. Did you have this TSB applied and have you noticed an improvement?

They did a full battery reset but it did not correct the problem so we may have an additional problem. In fact, the problem is maybe worse than before - and that is after 900 miles of driving to re-learn the driver preferences...

Thumbs up TSB applied in canada

Hi everyone,

I'm pleased to say that the TSB (Canadian version) is a success. I just got my 2016 F-Sport done. I took the car for A 30 km drive around town in traffic a little bit of HWY and it does seem a lot more responsive, no confusion about gears diffently sharper gear shifts.

That's Great! Isn't the difference like having a new vehicle? Good to work with you and computerwi on this problem. Glad Lexus Canada stepped up fairly quickly to help us frozen Canuks!

Its intereseting how some of us felt no difference and others cant believe the difference.
I wish I knew what version I had and what was installed. Starting to think they used multiple
versions throughout the 2016/17 build.
Even after the TSB it still lugs when going from 4th to 5th gear.
I just shift manually, its the only way I can tolerate the tranmission.
