Tint Percentage?
Jealous, That looks sharp! Too bad it's totally illegal to tint the front windows to anything less than 50% in Chicago
I just tinted my car too, thanks to the forum I know the factory back window is 21%, so I ask the installer to tint 25%, it math perfectly. If I don't check the forum first, and the installer assume the back is 18", then my car will have the weird looks.

I was told by the dealer that the rear is 20% so it's nice to know it's not quite that dark. Can you share some pics so I can see what it looks like? Thanks!
So, did you also tint over the factory privacy glass? I think I may tint just the front windows in case the police gets stooopid here! I say it's stupid because the law is that you can tint up to 35% all around as long as your car didn't already come with privacy glass. Then you can only do 50% on the front. Sooooo, basically there are cars driving around with dark tints all around legally and I can't. So dumb

If you are only wanting to block the heat, adding 20% ceramic film to all of the privacy windows including the sunroof is best. 35% is legal for the front windows here in GA. I had it put on the front windows and it looks nearly as dark as the back. You can put the 20% on the windshield and it will cut the heat with very little decrease in visibility.
Tint really makes the car look good!
I do find that it dims the BSM orange icon. Wish they made it like Mercedes. RED if there is a car. Easier to see and it is not on the same color spectrum as the sun at dawn, dusk.

Finally, pulled the trigger on the tint job... She goes in tomorrow. I am hesitant because of the stupid Chicago SUV tint exclusions saying only 50% in front if rears are factory tinted... but I still going with 35% ceramic all around including pano roof. Not getting the windshield done. We shall see.
I never felt I needed to tint the windows in any of my previews RXs. But I feel this one needs. Especially if you have a panoramic roof. It's just too way much light and heat in the car and can't really enjoy the shade being retracted at all times.
So, I went with ceramic 35% all around. It's not super dark in front but provide adequate privacy and UV/heat protection.
The tints made my car look even more bad ***, very happy!
