I too have found that by leaving everything in AUTO the comfort level is excellent without fiddling with settings.
That's the best way unless one has a "particular" need.

 

There is a button (RX 2017) to turn it off, but you'll be putting more wear on this way.

 

I actually like the analog clock ... a touch of class and nostalgia in this digital times

 

I'm not a fan of the clock - gives the interior an "old man" feel IMO

Lexus should steal a page from the Audi book when it comes to interiors. They been resting on their success way too long.

 

When I first saw the Gen 4 analog clock, I said out loud to the Lexus sales guy "That's the same clock as on the dash of my 1955 Ford Customline!"

But, it's a nice analog presentation of the actual time, so I'm at peace with it.

 

I was driving a couple of nights ago and to be honest, I hate that clock. If they had made the hour & hour hand like the gauge needles, it would have been SO much nicer.

 

So, maybe those who do not like the hands on clock just maybe they can't tell time.

And, maybe an analog speedometer and RPM gauge should be digital.

 

Two things on my 2020 RX450h F-Sport that annoy me the most:

- The 'hook' on the gas tank cap cover that is supposed to hold the cap while refueling. The cap keeps falling if I'm not careful. I wish it were as simple and as effective as the one on my Honda Accord.
- The silly analog clock. It looks out of place and its hands are difficult to see. I wish Lexus had put in that place a digital clock and a read-out of outside temperature.

 

I hate the gas cap hook also, but like the analog clock.

 

This clock is just WOW! The details are amazing. Just thought I’d share since it’s a JDM-only option.

Lexusacc.com was able to obtain it for me. It's a hefty price though.

 

Nice, but since it's my wife's RX she wouldn't appreciate it.

 

This is just my 2 cents. My pet peeve with clocks and watches is when the hour/minute hands blend into the background. Which the current clock does in my 2022 RX
