Default Door fault sensor

On my 2018 rx350L, the rear passenger door seems to have an issue with the door sensor. I get a continuous tone while driving, there are no faults shown on the dashboard. The tone is continuous, it’s not a chime that comes from an open door. It’s the same tone that comes from using the key fob to lock the car if you have an open door, or if you leave the key in the car and try to lock it using the outside door handle.

I can also initiate the tone by opening the rear passenger door, whereas the other doors won’t cause it to happen.

I tried replacing the door dome light switch, but that didn’t help.

Any ideas or experiences? Is the sensor in the door latch, or is there a computer module hidden somewhere?

Thanks

It is probably a latch issue. You may want to talk to a body shop.
