Hi there - does anyone know the exact factory wheel offset RANGE for 2021 Rx350 (base, FWD) ?
Wheels 18x8.
.
Not sure this is accurate below, seems too narrow: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/lexu...#sel=27:1,27:1
There are better online information sources for wheel offset, bolt spacing, hub bore etc.
The offset is 30mm for 18 inch wheels and the F Sport with 20 inch wheels. However, the base model with 20 inch wheels has 35mm offset according to what I could find. Go figure that one out.
So 30 or 35mm will work.
All of the sizes are 8 inches wide.
You do need the correct hub bore if considering aftermarket wheels. It is 60.1mm which is the same as almost every other Toyota and Lexus for the last 20 years.
Thanks.
Hard to find quality aftermarket 18x8 +30mm, most are +35mm offset.
Update - just called Lexus Service in Carlsbad - the Tech said up to +40 is OK, he knew immediatelly what I was talking about !
Also, it shouldn't need re-calibration, according to him. Ha !
Any recomendaitons on brands, budged $350sh /wheel...?
Im thinking Konig...
I'm also considering wheel replacement and so this thread caught my attention.
A word about offset. The higher the number, the more inward the wheel goes thus "narrowing" the track of the car. Not a great outcome in my opinion because a wide or wider track means better cornering stability. Also, as the wheel gets closer to the brake caliper, there's the risk of the wheel coming in contact with the caliper. Wheel design is therefore a consideration, particularly if the inside of the wheel clears the caliper or not.
The "offset range" of "28-32" showing on the linked website in fact indicates a wider, not narrower, track. Based on what I've found, 35 is the factory offset for the 20" wheels of my 2017 RX.
I've been shopping eBay, Tire Rack, Walmart, and just now Amazon (Walmart & Amazon sell wheels from 3rd party vendors) with the goal of an easy return if needed. Amazon & Walmart allow returns and their prices are identical to eBay sellers'. I might just end up buying from either one.
Hope this helps.

Offset is the position the center line of the wheel in relation to the mounting surface. So the standard 20" rim on a RX350 is 30mm... so the centerline of the rim is 30mm inboard of the hub. Something with a 20mm would be shifted outward.
But what people don't understand is it doesn't change handling as much because unless you change the tire width adding more contact to the ground. Nothing changes but a bit of lowering of center of gravity.
What it does change is the torque that is applied to the bearing pack in the hub. Pushing the center of the wheel either which way from spec will twist on the bearings and apply more pressure to one side or the other than was designed. Possibly causing premature bearing failure.
Thanks.

I would consider the replica Fsport hyper black or gloss black in 20" on Ebay. all 4 delivered for a little over $1k. Reviews although minimum look pretty good.
