where did you get them? could have been misboxed. looks like a rear rotor to me.
is it the same diameter and width as the old one?
got it from bell Lexus they are pretty good i have been using them everytime. hopyfully not i sent them an email too so let see what they say. ya everything the same i test drove the car nothing wrong for now. lol
well if you dove on them you own them now regardless.
i checked the part number they all correct, on ebay a toyota seller selling the same set of rotor too same part number and have a hole in it. further digging into it i think this is newer rotor design.

I would call them and ask about it...smells fishy. I would expect the exact same replacement unless there is a clear advantage to any change (such as the water pump change after the 3rd gen that is a better design internally).
I have seen the extra hole in OEM replacement brake rotors several times. I think that during the manufacturing process the equipment is machining the hub sections of some brake rotors the same for front or rear rotors.
You can call the dealer, but the staff in the parts department don't know much about what is in the boxes they sell.

ya i emailed them to double check. I think they just have two different version with same part number.
Multiple different vehicles might use the same rotor but require the use of a mounting bolt (BMW use them). The Raybestos rotors I just put on have the hole also. Not a big deal and does not affect the capability of the rotor.
Raybestos show the following Toyota/Lexus part #s.... OEM / Interchange Numbers: 435120E050, 4351248130, 4351278010, 43512F6010

I suspect these rotors might also be used in newer RX models that use lug bolts instead of lug nuts. If that’s the case, this hole is designed for a screw that holds the rotor in place until the assembly is complete.
I purchased the rotors from the dealership (P/N: 43512-F6010).
According to LexusPartNow.com, this part number supersedes 43512-0E050 and 43512-78010.
I’m still unsure about the purpose of the hole and whether I should replace the rotor because of it.
Actually MSRP for 43512-F6010 is almost $10 more than 43512-48130 on Lexus parts website.
