Anyone had to replace struts on a 22 RX450h with only 23K miles on it? Had to replace my tires this week because one was wearing much quicker that the other three even though routine rotations have been done every 5K. Since I live a way from a dealer I took it to Precision Tune and had an alignment with the new tires done. Technician said from the results that something was wrong with the front end. Said we had probably hit something and something as small or large as a pot hole could cause strut problems. Taking it to a trusted independent technician on Monday to check the struts. With our roads I’m sure we have unintentionally hit some large pot holes over the years.
Anyone had any similar front end problems. Thought about taking it to the dealer but I’m sure they would claim it’s probably not a warranty issue, which could probably be true.

After many years working at dealerships, it is not uncommon for alighnments to go our of alignment by potholes, or other road features. And, yes, hitting something, hopefully unintentionally, can bend or damage front end parts. And, on the other side, parts can fail, that is why they have warranties. Were you told what the specific problem was with the strut that needs replaced? If so, it might be worth a call to the dealership to see if the specific problem with the strut is typically caused by failure (warranty) or damage(customer pay) Also, Dealerships are graded by manufacturers regarding how much warranty work they do. They tend to push gray areas to customer paid repairs. Good luck.
Worn bushings, ball joints, control arms, or sagging struts can cause this. Were they able to determine if those are ok?
Your camber and caster is barely over the spec threshold. It's not that crucial. Just an eye sore. If the vehicle feels fine then it's fine. If not, then it needs to be rectified.

The technician mentioned “possibly struts” and brought up how pot holes could cause it. This is all out of my wheelhouse but I am taking it to a trusted independent mechanic I’ve used for years on Monday. At this point my wife is very leery about driving it anywhere which is a shame since I just had some new CC2;s installed a couple of days ago. I drove it and everything seems fine. We’ve been driving itbace and forth to the beach all sunnier on the interstate with no problems. Only reason we found something wrong is by me measuring the tread depth and realizing it was only one tire with the problem. Thanks for the input.
