Default Leaking Struts

I noticed yellowish oil on garage floor close to inside of front tire. Took to indy and he said one of the struts was leaking pretty good and the other was just starting. He replaced both. I took it to alignment place and received a call telling me both front struts had leaked out on his alignment machine.

1. has anyone experienced leaking struts before?
2. any ideas on the reason for new struts to leak in one day?

thanks
Al

Sounds strange, are you sure that they were replaced?
Either way, after one day the mechanic should stand behind them and redo the job.

Thanks for the response.

No problem with my mechanic replacing struts. I was just wondering if there could be something else going on that would cause failure back to back.

Aside from the possibility of the fact the "stuff" happens, hopefully your mechanic can come up with an answer.

Are you referring to leaking shock absorber?

YES. To remove you need to compress spring, unbolt on top.
