2016 RX 350 Fuel Injector Codes
Hi All,
I have a 2016 RX 350, 140k miles, with some fuel injector issues that i am trying to help sort for a family member. It has the following codes:
P0201 Cylinder 1 Injector "A" Circuit
P0204 Cylinder 4 Injector "A" Circuit
P0087 Fuel/Rail System Pressure - Too Low Bank 1
P0191 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1
Im not familar with this engine so digging into it i found out we have 12 injectors present. Did not realize they have direct injection on these. Is there a way to find out if the codes are for direct injection or port injection?

It's for the direct injection circuit. Focus and diagnose starting with code P0087. P0191 is SAE code, for Toyota/Lexus specific codes are P019023 and P019024

Wow thank you for attaching all of that info. So I didn’t start taking apart the intake manifold yet, but I suspect that a rodent has started chewing through some wiring, wouldn’t that be consistent with these codes? I thought it was interesting that cyl 1 and 4 showed issues at the same time.
If there is evidence of rodent droppings, food or nesting, then it's a good idea to check the injectors, the high pressure fuel pump and the fuel pressure sensor wiring.
Make sure the battery voltage is ≥ 12.4 volts.

Is there a free source for repair info? I have some sources for BMW’s which I’m used to working on. I know there are details regarding injector, and I would like to get up to speed.
There is no free source for repair info that I'm aware of. I'll remove this in couple of hours due to copyright! Just let me know whatever you need and perhaps I could help.
