Default Trunk shock squeaking

Trunk shock on my RX is squeaking loud when opening and closing. Any solutions besides replacing the struts. Thanks

Try cleaning the exposed strut tube and seals, then spraying them lightly with a lube of your choice. Open/close the door a few times to see if the noise is gone.

Although this information seems to be a closely held national security secret by many posters, would you be willing to tell us what year your vehicle is?

The squeaking noise is internal and happens in other Lexus models. There is no easy fix. You can replace the struts but after a period of time the problem could return. My best advice
: Ignore it like I do.

Let's just say it's out of warranty. This forum is between 2016-2022 it's somewhere in there.
