Google Maps incident reporting now works with Android Auto
TL;DR - Google Maps incident reporting feature is now enabled on Android Auto. Getting it to work on my RX display, though, required changing my AAwireless dongle DPI setting.
I'd read that the incident reporting feature (slowdown, crash, object, speed trap, etc.) was broadly available on Android Auto, but was not seeing on my RX. I'd also read that displays with limited vertical space could not use the feature. After changing the AAwireless dongle DPI setting to 150 (effectively increasing the display area) the feature appeared as shown in the photo. Now if Google would enable the speedometer on AA.....
Not all wireless dongles allow changing DPI. My old Motorola MA1 would not. I don't know if/how the incident reporting will work on newer 4th gen RXs that support wireless AA natively.
